Memory Drum is Stacey Goodman's online project exploring memory, information-sharing and art making. Memory Drum uses chronology and dates in subjective and symbolic ways in order to break from the restrictions of popular website genres (art portfolios, news services, blogs) and to soften the barriers between them.
Stacey is an artist and teacher living in Oakland, California. He has exhibited his work in galleries and screenings in Los Angeles, New York and the Bay Area. He is currently at work on My Grandfather Was A Leaf, a video exploring the missing faces on his photographic family tree. |
